Please account that Damage Protection only applies to the items being moved. It does not protect against damage to the environment surrounding the job (such as walls, floors, ceilings, etc.). If there is damage to the environment surrounding the job in a building that is not your own (such as a seller’s home, please, discuss this with the seller before signing the contract), Superman Moving is not responsible for covering that damage, which will be between Customer and seller. Furthermore, for Damage Protection and insurance purposes, the price of any given good is considered to be the lesser of either the price at which it was most recently purchased in the last year or the cost of replacement, as may be reasonably set by Superman Moving. We offer a standard of 60 cents per pound coverage. Superman Moving reserves the right to reject any claims of damage not submitted within 7 days of the damaging incident. Superman Moving is not responsible for any damage that is incurred outside of the express-written parameters of the move as purchased by the customer. Any act handled by our movers that are not explicitly paid for may not qualify for damage protection.

If the Customer cancels Services for any reason, the Customer shall provide Superman Moving a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours notice prior to the scheduled start time, without incurring any costs. If the Services are canceled less than twenty-four (24) hours before scheduled start time, the Customer shall pay Superman Moving a service fee in the amount of twenty percent (20%) of the Services.

In the occurrence that Superman Moving attempts to fulfill the Services but cannot due to reasons outside of Superman Moving’s control or if they determine the item(s) is not safe to move, Customer shall pay Superman Moving a service fee in the amount of seventy-five percent (75%) of the Services.  

SETBACK: At times our plans do not go our way, in this case, we face a setback (out of the mover's control.) For instance, the movers arrived at the customer's house to pick up a couch and they try to take it through the door, but it will not fit, so they go ahead and they remove the legs, but it will still not fit, so the last option is to take off the door. This will result in an additional fee of $60 due to the extra work needed to complete this job. 

IMPORTANT: For the safety of the movers, your items, and your house, we have a weight limit of 100 pounds per mover. For instance, if you need to move a refrigerator that weighs 300 pounds, you would need 3 movers and have to let us know in advance.
